It's 39 days until the end of the master's program-anxiety, right!Â
THIRTY NINE days in which a video game and a short film will be developed! An intense period, full of excitement and challenges, but also incredible satisfaction.
If you missed the previous blogs, here's a little recap:
Our story is from a children's book and is about friendship and feelings-thosesame feelings that, while not visible to the eyes, are felt very strongly within us. Â
All in a cartoony style, but with really distinctive textures and materials... but more on that we'll reveal later!
And let's not forget a key detail, this thesis is done in partnership with FABA, a company that creates storytellers for children! An incredible opportunity to work with a true partner in the industry.
The day got off to a flying start.Â
A nice coffee to carb up and then everyone to the cinema, where the boys were divided by departments!
If you follow us, you know that.
The thesis at BigRock turns into a real production house. Each master is divided into teams, assigned by mentors based on their expertise.
If you're inrig--well, rig doesn't exist. If you're in modeling, that means you split in the dedicated module. And so on, all along the production pipeline!
This week will serve to exercise and look for references as much as possible.Â
Then, as the work takes shape in the various departments ... we will get into the swing of production!
The most important thing in these six weeks will be to work with precision and dedication, without getting distracted by what others are doing.Â
To complete the project, everyone will have to be a perfect piece of a large gear.
This thesis is, and will be, a great opportunity for all the students, it is not taken for granted to be able to work with outside companies and have such an immersive experience.
