The Summer Courses are intensive programs for young people aged 14 to 19, designed to explore new forms of digital creativity by integrating art, technology, and artificial intelligence.
Over the course of two weeks of intensive training, you’ll work on real-world projects, experimenting with modern workflows that combine artistic skills with generative AI tools. From concept to final production: each module is designed to turn ideas into tangible results, with guidance from BigRock instructors and using professional technologies and tools.

3D PRINTING

& ANIMATION with AI
OVERVIEW
Two intensive weeks to create your 3D character, print it, and animate short scenes with the help of generative AI: from digital sculpting to content production, including 3D printing and leveraging artificial intelligence as a creative accelerator.
WEEK 1: Foundations & Gen-AI
• Concept with AI: We create worlds and focus on character development
• Digital Sculpting: We model and "retopologize" our character.
• 3D Printing: We 3D print our character
• AI Texturing: We color the character and generate photorealistic materials with the help of AI.
WEEK 2: Movement & Cinematic Output
• Rigging: We build the "digital" skeleton and deformations of our character.
• AI Motion Capture: Transforming motion from real-world video into a digital skeleton using AI
• Rendering & Compositing: Advanced lighting and final project editing to cinematic standards
FINAL OUTPUT
By the end of the course, you will have created an original 3D video and a 3D print of your character. You will have gained basic proficiency in using 3D software and the ability to manage innovative workflows that combine human creativity and artificial intelligence.

OVERVIEW
A two-week introduction to the vast world of concept art. A step-by-step course designed to help you discover digital drawing techniques so you can create your first characters and environments, combining traditional tools with the power of generative AI.
WEEK 1: Character Design & AI Concepts
• Character Design: We design a character using AI to find reference images
• Augmented Ideation: Let’s learn how to generate variations in the character’s costume, silhouette, and color palette
• Anatomy & Gesture: We study how to draw the poses and movements of characters and creatures
WEEK 2: World Building & Environment
• Composition & Perspective: We apply the principles of film directing to the illustration of stories and settings
• Photobashing & AI Overpainting: Let’s explore a simple and effective technique that combines photos, AI, and digital painting
• Final Rendering: Let’s explore the art of lighting and atmospheric effects for the final output
FINAL OUTPUT
By the end of the course, you will have created a Concept Art Pitch Deck: a professional portfolio that includes a design study of a main character, a key setting, and a series of props, combining digital drawing techniques with advanced generative tools.
