Master's Degree in Product Design | October 2026
With the Master's in Product Design, you will learn to work at the intersection of product design and user experience design for advanced interfaces: where industrial design meets digital interfaces, where the product ceases to be just an object and becomes a complex, sensory, connected experience.
You will learn to navigate the entire design process with confidence: from user research and design thinking to UI design and 3D modeling, from generative and spatial interfaces to HMI design for the automotive industry or wearables.
The designer of the future speaks all the languages of design: form and function, physical and digital, creativity and code. It is this breadth of vision that makes the difference.
That's why we've created a program that doesn't just train executors, but also develops the ability to imagine unexpected applications, to read market needs before they become apparent, and to define new frontiers where others still see boundaries.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Classes are held Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The morning hours will be spent in class, guided by the instructor, discovering day by day the production techniques or theory behind content creation.
The afternoon, on the other hand, will be entirely at your disposal to practice or attend one of the preparatory workshops on offer.
Classes end at 6:00 PM, but you can stay in the classroom until 10:00 PM if you need more time to practice.
Design Foundations & User Research
The course starts with the psychological and methodological foundations for understanding the user:
- Fundamentals & User-Centered Design: Research, cognitive psychology, information architecture, and design thinking.
- Visual & System Design: Creation of complex visual languages and Design Systems for Web and Mobile.
Advanced UI & Interaction Design
Focus on dynamic interactions and new digital paradigms:
- Motion Design: Study of micro-interactions.
- Next-Gen Interfaces: Generative interfaces driven by AI and Spatial Computing (VR/XR/AR).
HMI & Automotive Specialization
A unique vertical specialization for the transportation and IoT sector:
- Automotive HMI: Digital ergonomics, infotainment, and cluster design.
- Sensory Interaction: Haptic & Sonic interaction, Eye-tracking, and Advanced User Testing.
- Wearable & IoT: Design for wearable devices and connected objects.
3D Modeling & Rendering
Integration of the third dimension in Product Design:
- Hard Surface Modeling: Industrial modeling with Rhino.
- Texturing: Using Adobe Substance for digital texturing.
Real-Time Engine & Prototyping
The use of Unreal Engine 5 as a design and prototyping tool:
- UE5 for Designers: Using Blueprints, UMG, and Scripting to create interactive interfaces in real time.
Coding & Computational Thinking
Technical skills for communicating with development:
- Languages: Advanced HTML5 and CSS.
- AI Coding: Coding focused on artificial intelligence and API integration.
Final Project
The course culminates in a thesis (final project) in collaboration with AKQA, where students apply the entire product design workflow to create a digital product or a complete, market-ready advanced interface.
