Ribaltamentor

The Chinese dumpling, known as jiaozi (饺子), has ancient origins dating back more than 1,800 years during the Han Dynasty.
According to legend, they were invented by physician Zhang Zhongjing, a famous Chinese herbalist.

The story goes that during a particularly harsh winter, Zhang Zhongjing noticed that many people suffered from frostbite in their ears.
To help them, he devised a culinary remedy: he prepared a flour dough, filled it with meat and warming spices such as ginger, and served it boiled in a hot broth.
The shape of the jiaozi was reminiscent of human ears, and this dish is said to have helped people warm up and heal.

For those who are not familiar with it, the Ribaltamentor is a unique moment when everything is "turned upside down."
Students become teachers and mentors and staff sit in desks, ready to learn something new.
And it was precisely the Ribaltamentor that held Sofia from Game and Giulio from Coding.

The kitchen was transformed into a workshop of flavors and traditions: tables laden with fresh vegetables, thin dough ready to be stuffed, and a group of industrious hands ready to get to work.
Cutting vegetables was the first step.
Every movement was accompanied by chatter, laughter and the irresistible scent of ingredients.

Then, the most delicate phase: closing the ravioli. Some chose the half-moon closure, some experimented with the most complex folds, some made panzerotti!
But all with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail.
For some it was the first time, for others a small return to family traditions, but in each case the result was the same: perfectly imperfect ravioli, ready to be baked.

And finally, the most awaited moment, the return home and the tasting.
Everyone brought their ravioli with them, cooked and enjoyed them with satisfaction. The verdict? Simply delicious! The taste of teamwork, sharing and discovering a new tradition made this experience even more special.

This is the spirit that unites us: learning together, experimenting and creating memories through food.
And if the magic of Christmas spreads with freshly baked cookies, the magic of a moment shared among friends can also come from a simple dumpling.
