OVERVIEW
The Master's in Computer Graphics Online is a six-month remote study program designed to train new professionals with the skills needed to create a product in 3D animation for film, television and advertising productions.
By the end of the course in BigRock you will have acquired the necessary background to continue to grow independently and enter the world of work in various fields such as film and TV, marketing and advertising, product or setting design, and much more in an ever-changing digital world.
COURSE PROGRAM
The course has a duration of 21 weeks: in each week (or more than one) you will tackle a different subject, going through a typical animation film production pipeline.
Each morning, depending on the week's schedule, you will be provided with a recorded video lecture, lasting from one to three hours. During the afternoon, on the other hand, there is a live group review together with the lecturer, where the exercises done during the day will be analyzed.

REVIEW
Every day from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. connect live with our lecturer and the whole class to submit your exercise and receive feedback.
INTRODUCTION
We discover the magical world of Maya through challenging exercises that will guide us to mastery of the interface and tools. We will revolutionize final image creation with AI as our creative ally, opening the door to next-generation digital art.
TEXTURE & SHADING
We will explore the Substance 3D suite with its unique material creation system that will allow us to better texturize our models. We will also examine how to integrate textures generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
RIG & ANIMATION
Once you have learned how to physically create a character, it is time to learn how to bring him or her to life.You will discover techniques for setting up control systems for a character or prop and then how to animate it.
LIGHTING & RENDER
In this module we will hone our skills with Substance Painter to create PBR textures and materials. We will harness the power of Arnold to create photorealistic renders, approaching virtual cameras for the first time and learning the fundamentals of photography, including composition and lighting.
ENVIRONMENT
We will immerse ourselves in Unreal Engine, the beating heart of video games, cinema and virtual productions. We will leverage our knowledge of shading and lighting to achieve photorealistic results in real time, opening the door to innovation and next-generation digital art.
MATERIALS & GARMENT
Each material tells a story. Now is the time to experiment with textures in more depth, going to work mainly on fabrics and, why not, also on clothes and accessories.
SCULPTING
We will learn how to use one of the most popular 3D modeling software. We will explore the world of Zbrush and learn how to best master its arsenal of brushes.
We will bring our first 3D character to life pen in hand!
COMPOSITING
The Compositing class gives students a comprehensive overview of the techniques and tools used in the visual effects industry. Through theoretical and practical lectures, students will explore topics such as greenscreen, rotoscoping, tracking, and integration of CG elements. We will also delve into how to speed up and improve production by implementing AI technologies.
