Experience with generative AI is not required. A visual or audiovisual background is helpful, but not mandatory. The course is designed for:

Friday online, 2-7 p.m.

Weekend Off, one a month
There will be no classes one Friday and one Saturday per month.
Carlo De Togni
Carlo De Togni is an AI Filmmaker and Creative Technologist who has been experimenting and
applies new models of production
audiovisual based on artificial intelligence. He is founder of
Mondo Novo, an AI-first studio active between branded content, cultural projects and artistic research.
He has made ten short films (eight independent) selected in over thirty-five festivals
international, with awards such as the Honoree Award at the Runway AI Film Festival 2024 and
the Best Animation at the Beverly Hills Film Festival 2025, as well as selections in Academy
Qualifying such as Cinequest and TISFF.
He is an official Creative Partner of Runway and Kling AI, among the world's leading platforms for
video-generation.
What you will learn
Aesthetic control in image generation
Development of visual consistency, brand looks, aesthetics, variations, avatars, environments, and product shots.
AI-driven production and video
From static to motion: image-to-video, video-to-video, editing, directing, sound design, voice-over.
Narrative design and branded content
Audiovisual language, short and medium-long narrative structure, creative writing applied to AI.
Creative direction of AI systems
Do not use models, but direct them, building iterations, choosing among variants, recognizing systemic errors, and turning technical limitations into language.
Production and project management
Brief interpretation, budgeting, timeline, customer management, margin management, and AI-first flows.
Legal framework IP & copyright
What can be done, what cannot be done, and how to build a safe path to production.
